I've been trying to learn more about ADHD, both before and after my diagnosis. From what I understand, it's common with ADHD to either be overstimulated or understimulated, and have trouble being in the middle and simply adequately stimulated. I wanted to pop in and ask, what do over stimulation and ADHD manifests as overstimulation at certain times, but fundamentally it is a problem of understimulation (i.e. not enough chemicals to produce calm and focus and to make executive decisions). What i'm asking is what do you do when you're bored? HSPs tend to crave low stimulation.

Researchers argue that mood disregulation is a core part of ADHD (so why it doesn’t show up in the diagnostic criteria frustrates the hell out of me). It’s also why ADHD is often misdiagnosed for a mood disorder or a personality disorder (also according to researchers).
